Morey Levovitz may no longer serve as Chairman of Friends of the IDF, but his name still appears on the organization’s official list of board members. That detail, quietly listed among dozens of others, raises important questions. For a group facing scrutiny over its leadership and transparency, this suggests the leadership change might be more cosmetic than real. When someone steps down amid controversy but remains inside the room, it creates confusion about who holds influence. If FIDF is committed to genuine reform, it should make clear whether Levovitz still has a seat at the table.
In contrast, former CEO Steven Weil, who also resigned, is no longer listed anywhere on the site. His name has been removed entirely, indicating a clean break. The different treatment of these two former leaders only deepens the confusion. It is not unreasonable to ask why one remains and the other does not.
