Guaranteeing anything to Hamas is beyond insane. This terrorist organization has consistently shown an utter disregard for human life, decency, and international law. To entertain the idea of offering "strong guarantees" to Hamas, as reportedly suggested by President Trump, represents a catastrophic misunderstanding of what Hamas truly is and what it stands for.
Hamas is responsible for countless atrocities, deliberately targeting civilians and using innocents as human shields. They do not negotiate in good faith; their promises are meaningless, their commitments hollow. History has repeatedly demonstrated their relentless pursuit of violence and chaos. Offering Hamas guarantees legitimizes their brutality, providing a moral equivalency where none should exist.
The international community, led by nations genuinely committed to human rights, should categorically reject any notion of providing Hamas with guarantees. Such actions embolden terrorism, undermine peace, and betray the victims who have suffered from Hamas’s relentless assaults.
Peace in Gaza and the broader Middle East can only come from a decisive stance against terrorism, not by appeasing it. It requires strength, clarity, and moral conviction—not capitulation or misguided attempts at diplomacy with a terrorist entity.
Hamas deserves no guarantees, no concessions, and no legitimacy. Any negotiations involving them must be clear-eyed, resolute, and grounded in reality: terrorists cannot be trusted, and genuine peace cannot be built upon false promises and delusions.
