MK Yitzchak Kroizer was recently thrown out of reserves and we will stay very far away from the politics of that situation.
However it is worth noting that he is wearing a “high-cut” helmet (a helmet that does not cover his ears) which is not given out by the IDF as part of the standard issue kit to reserve ground forces. There are exceptions and special units that do receive “high-cut” helmets but MK Kroizer is unlikely to have received such an exception.
It’s also worth noting that a “Moshiach Patch” can be seen on his helmet:
Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi made waves several weeks ago when he removed a Moshiach patch from a soldier’s uniform.
Bottom line - will MK Kroizer speak up about the equipment gaps in the IDF? As an MK will he publicly speak about the gear that he used?
Let’s focus on the fact that an elected official is seen with clearly non-standard gear and he needed outside assistance to be combat ready and safe in the field.
