Responding to Megyn Kelly & Charlie Kirk on Israel

The problem isn’t open debate — it’s when that debate is hijacked by anti-Semitism.

Critics of Megyn Kelly and the late Charlie Kirk are not alarmed that they discussed Israel. Serious debate about Israel’s policies is entirely legitimate. What troubles many is that in those conversations, fringe commentators with histories of anti-Semitic rhetoric are treated as credible sources. Figures like Max Blumenthal, once widely dismissed for mocking Jewish practices and comparing Israel to Nazis, are now being elevated and their ideas are seeping into the mainstream. The concern is not open dialogue about Israel’s leadership or the conduct of the war. The concern is the normalization of voices that traffic in prejudice and distortion and the risk that this corrupts the conversation itself.
