A Los Angeles model and OnlyFans creator is facing six felony counts after prosecutors say she spent the better part of two years using dating apps to get into people’s homes and rob them.
Adva Lavie, 28, born July 10, 1997, was ordered to stand trial March 24 following a preliminary hearing in Van Nuys. She faces two counts of first-degree residential burglary, two counts of grand theft, and two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information. She has pleaded not guilty to all charges in case 25VWCF01988.
Lavie is Israeli and served two years in the IDF before moving to Los Angeles, where she built a following as a model and content creator. She appeared in both Playboy and Penthouse and claimed to be the top-ranked Israeli creator on OnlyFans. In various public appearances, including podcast interviews and bikini competitions, she mentioned her Israeli background and military service, details that added color to a persona built primarily around her modeling career.
What prosecutors allege she was doing behind that persona is a different story entirely.
Between 2023 and 2025, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Lavie used dating apps and social media to get close to wealthy older men and younger women across some of L.A.’s more expensive zip codes: Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Los Angeles proper. She would pose as a girlfriend or travel companion, get inside their homes, and then steal. Cash, gold, credit cards, designer goods. Repeat.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department went public with a bulletin in October 2025 naming her as a suspect in a series of residential burglaries. The language in that bulletin was blunt: she “targets elderly men, posing as a girlfriend or companion, and burglarizes their residence.” Investigators said she went by multiple names, including Mia Ventura, Shoshana, and Shana, and drove a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
After the bulletin went out, more people came forward. A skincare spa and a clothing boutique in Los Angeles both reported thefts connected to Lavie. One victim, Eden Lynn, said Lavie tried to run unauthorized charges on her American Express card, including a salon appointment in Beverly Hills booked under the name Mia Ventura.
Then there was the podcast. Michael Sartain, host of Access Vegas, said Lavie appeared on his show during an election night taping. During a break in filming, he alleged, she disappeared briefly and came back having stolen cash and credit cards from the purses of other guests in the green room.
Jail records reviewed by KTLA show Lavie had already been arrested in May 2025 on a separate felony charge, though it’s not clear if that case is connected to this one. The DA filed the current charges on November 4, 2025. She turned herself in two days later and has been on home detention with an ankle monitor since.
Lavie is represented by Jeffrey K. Rubenstein of JKR Law in Los Angeles, a former L.A. prosecutor with more than 30 years in criminal defense. His office has not commented publicly on the case.
The investigation was handled jointly by the LAPD and the LASD. Lavie’s arraignment is set for April 6 in Department F of the Van Nuys Courthouse. She remains out of custody but is barred from contact with the named victims.
District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman put it plainly in a statement after the ruling: “Her ability to deceptively influence others, whether in person or online, has now come to an end.”
If convicted on all counts, she faces up to 11 years and eight months in state prison.
