Unfortunately we normalized the announcements of soldiers falling and/or getting injured in the line of duty. Here’s a positive set of photos for a change.
This soldier was severely injured in combat but was provided a helmet and ceramic plates from Unit 11741 — which contributed to saving his life. Unit 11741 provided extensive medical gear which was utilized as well.
Not only did he make a Seudat Hodaya (a meal to give thanks to Hashem that he is alive and well) but Unit 11741 provided him with brand new combat gear - he is preparing to return to the field!
99% of the donors to Unit 11741 will never meet this soldier and if we passed him on the street we would have no idea about his past. And that’s awesome! Unit 11741 is about the Jewish people coming together to help each other out without any personal gain or demand for a reward. May he live and be healthy and strong for many many years.
