Will Steve Weil and Morey Levovitz put the soldiers first and resign tomorrow at the 11 AM National Board meeting, or will they continue dragging the name of Friends of the IDF through the mud?

FIDF was founded with a singular, sacred mission: supporting the brave men and women of the IDF who risk their lives daily to defend Israel. Yet under Weil and Levovitz's leadership, the organization's credibility has eroded through scandal, mismanagement, and a toxic workplace environment. Soldiers have spoken out, donors have paused their support, and dedicated employees have described feeling demoralized and unsupported.

Multiple FIDF board members have privately expressed their frustrations, characterizing Weil and Levovitz's tenure as chaotic and damaging. Some have even warned internally that unless leadership changes immediately, the organization's fundraising capability could collapse entirely.

Adding urgency to tomorrow’s decision, there is growing talk among influential donors about potentially boycotting any future events attended by Weil and Levovitz. Their continued presence, some argue, has become a liability that undermines fundraising efforts and alienates longstanding supporters.

Donors are especially furious over the private February 2024 settlement related to a human rights complaint involving allegations of discrimination and retaliation against Steven Weil. The complaint detailed Weil's inappropriate remarks about female executives and his practice of conducting business in exclusive cigar lounges, systematically excluding women.

Donors remain deeply concerned that emergency campaign funds may have been used to pay for this settlement, an alarming possibility that FIDF leadership has yet to clearly deny or rule out.

Tomorrow, Weil and Levovitz have a critical choice: step aside for the good of the soldiers and the future of FIDF, or remain entrenched, allowing their leadership failures to continue tarnishing the organization's once proud reputation. At 11 AM, we will learn if they prioritize their egos or the mission they have pledged to uphold.
